Search Tips
Search for ‘Plain
Text’ or ‘Title’:
• Any
words entered next to each other are automatically treated as
a phrase.
e.g. protein metabolism will automatically
look for this phrase rather than the terms protein or
metabolism separately.
• Use
parentheses for nested searches e.g. (milk OR dairy)
AND protein metabolism. Use balanced parentheses for correct query
syntax.
• Use "Publication
Year" limits to find records published in a particular
year or years. Use the “Equal”, "Since"
or “Before” limit to find records
published equal, since or before selected years respectively.
• Search with
‘Plain Text’ will
search the specific phrase in the ‘Abstract’
section of the record and search with ‘Title’
will search the specific phrase in the ‘Title’
section.
